Ironstone Fine Surface Filler

Description
Ironstone Fine Surface Filler is a factory blended Natural Hydraulic Lime filler designed for fast setting and early sanding. This product is suitable for internal and external use on lime or cement. It is not suitable for use on gypsum plaster or plasterboard.
Can be used to fill cracks up to 8mm in diameter if the surface is not hollow or de-bonded.

Coverage
Consumption rates will change based on the amount and size of the cracks to be filled. On-site trials are advised for the best yield indication for your specific project.
Preparation
Remove dust, surface contaminants and loose or crumbly material. Dense backgrounds are unlikely to be very absorbent and require little to no dampening, whereas more absorbent backgrounds require adequate dampening to prevent rapid drying.
Application
Take the required quantity of filler and mix with water to achieve a slightly softer than toothpaste like consistency. Once water has been added this filler will have an open time of approximately 45 mins in warm weather and 1 hour 30 minutes in cold weather.
